Mark Jay DJ

If you came with us to Cambridge last year or attended our Easter Bank Holiday Party you would have meet Mark Jackson
Mark is not a resident of Clapham Park. He comes from East London and is a good friend of mine
Five years ago while working as a DJ in Malia, Crete Mark became ill and had kidney failure.
Mark has been on a Kidney machine for 5 years having treatment 3 times a week at 5 hours each time.
Week Enders would like to thank Mark for coming down to Clapham Park and D Jaying for us on 13th April 2009
Mark would like to do a fund raising and awareness events for a the British Kidney association in the Clapham Park area.
It will be an evening of smooth old skool tunes to dance the night away to.
We hope that Week Enders attendees will join Mark at his kicking event.
Time and date for the events will be on a poster in the area soon
Good Luck Mark

Week Enders Meets Eastenders

Angela Wytner who played “Yolande Trueman,” in the BBC Soap Eastenders paid Clapham Park Estate a visit on bank holiday Monday 4th May. She came to the ‘Week Enders’ Film and “Old Skool Music Day”.
I had invited Angela through a mutual friend. I was so pleased that Angela could take the time to come and meet the Week Enders members. I really was not expecting her to be able to make it, but she did and now we can say ‘Week Enders met Eastenders. Angela spoke to the 20 Week Enders Members about her progression as a black actress in the UK saying “I would not mind playing a baddy in a film but the work I am involved in must be balanced and not be detrimental to mine or any other community”
